You can use dictation software on your computer to transfer text into an application within Access Legal Fusion Direct.
To do this, follow the steps below.
To set this up, you'll need:
An Internet Connection.
Access to Law Fusion Direct.
Dragon Dictation software.
Note: This guidance has been generated from our own testing. There's no guarantee that this works in each case. We don't support any dictation program as it's not our software. Our testing used Dragon Home Edition version 15, therefore the guidance is based on this. These programs have recommended microphones, it's worth reviewing this if you have any issues.
Open your Dragon dictation software.
Click Options then click Miscellaneous.
Select the Use the Dictation Box for unsupported applications checkbox.
To apply the settings, click OK.
Tip: We recommend reviewing the Speed Vs Accuracy settings as well as the Voice Learning function.
Speech through a microphone is now output on screen in the dictation box.
To move the text to the application within Access Legal Fusion Direct, click Transfer.
