What to check if your time posting isn't working.
If you can't post time, the most likely issue is that your latest financial period isn't open, especially if it is the 1st of the month. There are two ways to check this:
A)
Open the Accounts Desktop.
Click on the Control tab.
Click on Periods Control.
B)
Open the Administrator's Desktop.
Double click on Periods Maintenance.
You should now be presented with a list of your financial periods. If you find here that you do not have a period open for the date you are attempting to post to, the system will prevent you from doing so.

A period must be opened with a start and end date that correlates to your financial accounting period and the month you are currently in.
