When the error message 'String or binary data would be truncated' appears, this means there are too many characters in a particular field. It could be in a name field, description or reference field depending on the screen you are on when this error appears.
The solution is to reduce the number of characters. Once this is done you should be able to complete the task you are trying to complete.
Any problems then please ask a question in the MyAccess Portal Digital Assistant and ask to "Speak to a human" to be put through directly to our support team.
