Set the default PDF reader

How to change the default PDF reader.

You can use the following PDF readers with Access Legal Fusion Direct.

  • Adobe DC Reader

  • Foxit Reader

You can amend the default reader to your preferred option. To do this, follow the steps below.

Set Adobe DC Reader as the default

If Foxit Reader is set as the default PDF reader program, and you'd like to change it back to Adobe DC, you need to open Adobe Reader DC. When prompted to set Adobe Acrobat Reader as default, click Yes.

Your default PDF reader is now set as Adobe DC.

Set Foxit Reader as the default

If Adobe DC is set as the default PDF reader program, and you'd like to change it to Foxit Reader, follow the steps below.

  1. Open Foxit Reader.

  2. When prompted to set Foxit Reader as default, click Yes.

  3. Close Foxit Reader.

  4. Open a PDF document outside of Law Fusion.

  5. From the menu, click Foxit Reader.

Your default PDF reader is now set as Foxit Reader.
