If you receive the 'Unfinalised Crime Bills - Cannot Close' warning, this is likely due to there being a crime bill that is still present on the file.

You will first need to click on the Billing & Costs tab, as it is likely there is a bill here that was not fully posted. If there is, you will need to either:

  1. Retract the bill.

  2. Delete the bill.

Both of these options will be available on the bottom left of the bill, the difference is only related to which stage the bill is at.

πŸ“ŒNote: It is a privilege in the software to be able to delete crime bills. To give access to this ability, you need to go into the Administrator's Desktop > User Manager > Tick the box of the person you wish to give access to > User Privileges > Case Management > Crime > Tick the Allow Deletion of Retracted Bills box.

If this suggestion does not resolve your issue, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
