Email message ribbon not showing

When opening an email it is defaulting to the File tab. When opening emails the message ribbon does not appear.

Please see the instructions below to pin the message ribbon so that it always displays:

  1. Open an existing email or compose a new email.

  2. Click the Message tab.

  3. In the lower-right corner of the Message ribbon click the pin icon.

When opening an email, or composing a new email, the message ribbon should automatically appear.
