You can use the document bundler function in Access Legal Fusion to create a new index page or edit one of the existing defaults to suit your needs. To do this follow the steps in this article.

To do this, you'll need access to procedure file maintenance. The index you create is available in any of the workflows regardless of which one you choose to create it from. You can also include exports from the questions in a workflow which makes it workflow specific.

  1. On the Fee Earner Desktop, click Tools.

  2. Click Procedure File Maintenance.

  3. Open a workflow that you'd like the index to be used.

  4. Click File then select Document Assembler.

  5. To create a new index, click the file tab then press the New index button.

  6. Enter a new index a name. This can be anything you like so that you can identify it when you're using the document bundler.

  7. In the Modify Index screen, make the required changes.

  8. Click Save then close the index modifier.
This is now available to use as an index for the document bundler. For information on the tabs and menus, refer to the sections below.

  • Table - Create a table.

  • Line - Insert a line anywhere into your index.

  • Page break - Put a break on the page..

Modification page

Use the main modification page to modify the header, page and footer of the index. These are selected by the three tabs IndexHeader, repindexpage and IndexFooter.

To add a database field to your index, use the field list menu on the right side of the screen.

If you select any workflow questions at the start of the modification process these are available in the questions field list.
