Client to office transfer (CTO/OTC)

How to do a client to office transfer Transfer monies over to pay a bill The client account is overdrawn how do I put the monies back over?

This can be done via the Postings menu, follow the below steps:

  1. From the Accounts Desktop if you don't have postings open select Home tab and New Posting.

  2. Select the Transfers tab.

  3. Pick in the drop down Client to Office or Office to Client dependent which way you would like it to go.

  4. Fill in the relevant details for the matter and reference with the amount.

  5. Select OK/Next.

  6. If there is a bill or posting to allocate the money against this will come up on the next screen if not then you select No Offset.

  7. If the transaction is there you want to allocate against then select it if not then use the radio buttons at the top to select previous bills to find the correct one.

  8. Once selected click on OK/Next and it will ask if you are sure you want to post select Yes.
