To add an existing contact to your matter or case, please follow the below steps:
Open the relevant case or matter.
Go to the Contact Details window.
Click the second icon on the bottom of the window which says New Contact.
Select the Yes - Attach and relate to the following and then select whether to add it to the Client, Matter or Case.
Click the as field and then select from the list appropriately.
Click Next.
On the next page when asked Do you require a conflict/contact search?, please select Yes.
Click Next.
Fill in the contact details.
Click Next.
Select the contact from the list by ticking the box.
Click Next.
On the address reference page click Next.
The last page will display New Contact NOT Created, which means an existing contact was added.
Click Finish.
π€Tip: To see the changes go to File, then Options, then Refresh Files.
