It's possible to display case-related diary appointments on the Case Details screen. Configuration is required and access to Procedure File Maintenance is required. Options are available to create new diary appointments, edit an existing appointment, open the System Diary, Auto Scheduler, and Overview Diary if required.
πNote: Administrator privileges are required to access Procedure File Maintenance.
Workflow Configuration
Open the required workflow/procedure.
Click File then Edit Current Procedure.
Click the Display Answers tab.
This tab has up to three panels of information which is displayed at one time. Depending on the size of the monitor, configure the appropriate panels, amending the size accordingly - all panels must total 100.
Click Configure then click Add.
Click Custom Panels then click New.
Give the panel a name then click New.
Select Case Display Grid from the drop-down then click OK.
Give the grid an appropriate name.
Configure the Fields to be displayed, e.g. Start Date, Details, Appointment For.
Other options include User Branch, Police Station Scheme information, Venue, Court and Counsel information.
Double-click the field in the Fields Selection pane to add it to the Fields in use pane.
Alternatively, click the single right chevron to add items. To amend the order of the items, use the arrows. Select a field and click Title to amend the specific name of that field as displayed in the grid.
To define which buttons the users can access, select Button Options.
To filter items by their status, use Available Filters.
Other settings include:
Word Wrap - Wrap text on more than one line - depending on monitor size.
Extend Last Column - The last column to fill the panel.
Maximum Column Width - Establish column width when displaying notes.
To mark this panel as default, select the Default check box.
Click OK then click OK then click Close.
Select Custom (Case Diary) from the drop-down menu then click OK.
If required, to reorder the display, use the arrows then click OK.
To exit, click OK.
Use of the List
You can create and edit diary appointments in the Case Details screen. If the Case Diary isn't the default to be displayed within the panel, click the drop-down and select Case Diary to view the content.
